Buffalo Bayou Park offers 160 acres of beautiful scenery and skyline views, artwork, a nature play area, the ‘go-to’ dog park in the city, hike and bike trails and gathering places for visitors to enjoy outdoor activities as well as live, artistic performances.

The lovers of cycling and jogging can enjoy the Sandy Reed Memorial Trail, a ten-foot wide concrete trail located on both sides of the bayou.

During my ride, I was trying to trace the Monumental Moments, a series of 6 four-foot-tall sculptures.  The single word thoughts – Explore, Pause, Reflect, Listen, Emerge and Observe –  are placed at ground-level in unexpected areas along the bayou-side asphalt Kinder Footpaths.

Reflect what you desire and enjoy the ride.
